Hello,
I'm trying to get mortal kombat komplete edition to run in my arcade cabinet. The game runs fine when I connect my 'normal' lcd monitor to my pc. But when its connected to my crt monitor I get a '4:3 modes are not supported' error. Is there a workaround for these kind of 'newer' games that don't support low resolutions?
When i uninstall the emudrivers and the basic vga drivers are installed the game runs, but very slow...

You need to know if game supports 640x480i at most. I have a plenty of modern games in my cabinet with different resolutions.
I think you will examine this topic http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=132504.80 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=132504.80)

A ton of games will run happily in 800x600@50i as well. Just pick 800x600 and they don't even care. I'm playing Tekken 7 online that way on my horizontal cab.
Better done on a TV rather than an arcade monitor, perhaps. You'd want to make sure yours can handle that mode ok.

I did came across that topic allready but it didn't have a solution to mu problem.
I can get the game to boot when I set my desktop resolution to a super resolution (2650x240) but my screen is squiched and I can't see much, but it does boot, and at the right speed...

I will try to add that mode to the drivers list. But when I got the game to run on my lcd pc monitor I couldn't set te resolution lower than 1366x768 (or something like that)
I'm using windows 10 64 if that does matter... And disabled the amd external utility in the services.

You can edit the resolution in the config file.
%APPDATA%\MKKE\options.ini

Yeah did that, doesn't work for me... Also changed the dxdiag.txt and set the dedicated memory to 1024 and made the file read only.
But still no luck on launching... :(
