Title: Golden Tee Fore Complete Not Working
Post by: heydude348 on April 08, 2020, 12:12:42 pm
Brand new to the forum. Have no previous knowledge/experience working on/troubleshooting any arcade machines. Having said that , anyone kind enough to respond with advice/help keep that in mind. Thank you in advance for any help.
So heres what's happening. Game powers up as far as lights on boards. I get no picture or audio. I notice when I power on the arcade I get about 1-2 minutes of audible "clicking" coming from what appears to me to be on either the main board or the board(S) below the monitor. That's about all the checking I have done. Not sure if theses (GT) are notorious for having one issue or if it could be a number of things. If anyone has any advice/troubleshooting I would be grateful and encouraged to attempt them. Thanks again for your time.

Definitely check your voltages. Also, is there sound coming from the speakers when you coin up? Does the monitor show anything on screen, even if a faint line or light hue?

I attached the manual for your machine. It got a nice troubleshooting section. Good luck!

So after a little more investigating I noticed there was a random "clicking" noise and I tracked it down to what Im calling a "hard drive".Silver box to the right of the "mother board". Western Digital 75AA.I have 4 solid red "LED" on D75,D76,D77,D78 and a blinking Green LED on D5A(Status 2).I also have a solid Green LED on D20(Status 1).The speaker "pop" when the unit is powered on but no sound/video.
