Title: is it possible to hack netplay into groovymame?
Post by: flybynight on April 04, 2020, 12:33:57 pm
Is it possible to hack netplay code into an unofficial groovymame build?  Not looking for anything slick, just the ability to play 4 player turtles, simpsons, sunset riders on a LAN with 2x 2 player jamma cabs.

Currently using an ancient "mame plus plus" but the graphics are bad on the 15k crt compared to the glorious groovymame.

It won't play Konami games like TMNT, Simpsons etc., but Winkawaks supports netplay for Capcom CPS1/CPS2 and Neogeo games, which means games like Street Fighter II and alternatives, Dungeons & Dragons (Mystara & Tower), a bunch of other co-op brawling/hack games like Cadillacs & Dinosaurs and Final Fight, many 3D fighting games. Controls are all configurable for arcade cabs.

Obviously, works fine under windows.
