Apologies if this has been asked before but I am getting an error when I use the search.
I am working on my CP plans and since I’m starting with a fully stocked prototype CP given to me, I am trying to decide what to keep and what to pull.
My friend used a 6-button setup for each joystick, but he also mounted two trackballs and a spinner. For the life of me, I can’t recall a two player game that used two trackballs. Am I missing something?

Marble Madness allows simultaneous two player.

There are also cocktail cabs like Centipede that used two trackballs and screen flipping for alternating between two players.

Rampart has 3 trackballs, and I believe there was a Sonic game that also had 3.

Sonic The Hedgehog Arcade (https://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9626) a.k.a. "Segasonic The Hedgehog."

Atari Football, Blades of Steel. That's all I can think of at the moment.

What was the tool used to search by controls? MAWS, Romlister, or something else? It's been a few years since I've thought about it.

Answering the question a little less literally, there aren't a whole hell of a lot of games worth playing that use multiple trackballs. I don't think cocktail games count (unless he built a cocktail of course) and imho marble madness is probably the only simultaneous two player trackball game you'd actually want to play. I did a lot of controls.dat entries and trackball games are pretty rare as-is.... probably due to the added expense of the controls.

MAWS was the one I used but I don't think it is around anymore. ids created a new version of it -
