Title: ONE Try Challenge #004 - Logger

ROM Name = logger.zip

Default Settings

1 week only (no need for longer, right?). Ends SATURDAY, March 21th, 2020 at midnight Pacific Time

RULES:
1 Quarter only!
-One play ONLY (No repeated plays)
Only first score matters
-Study attract mode for game play, ONLY!
No looking for tricks or tips
-No friendly advises to other players after the game
Winner picks next game
-If no winners (draw) Whoever posted first, picks new game
No participants for one week. This thread = DEAD!
-No need for screen shot. It's friendly competition (if you have the need to stroke your ego by cheating at whatever age you are, then you have bigger mental issues than need to win)
The more unknown the better (all games deserves some "love" and recognition, no?)
-Try to provide your best guess as to what controls supposed to be (If incorrectly recognized as 4-way instead of 8, it stays that way for all)
If you know the game, play it, just say it!

omg what a turd! I don't know why but my joystick would over travel every time and on the way up character would jerk downwards before getting off costing me precious milliseconds. I had to get used to the issues.

2700
out of 3 games. I didn't feel doing it out of 5 due to being a turd.

Wow. This seems like a BASIC program I would have typed into my Atari 800 from the back of magazine when I was a kid.

To be fair my U360 was acting up. I'll give this one another try at some point.

3rd game best: 7,000

5th game best: 7,400

Since it's over... I can say that I have not played that game in YEARS... I remembered playing it about 10 years ago and thinking ... this has GOT to be one of the most out there DK clone. Yeah. It sucks.

It doesn't seem like there is much interest to keep it going. I, myself am busy with Half-Life: Alyx, Factorio, No Man's Sky. If you guys want to continue I'm in. However are we going to do it for the 3 of us?
Regardless it would be FrizzleFried turn anyways. His first score was better than my 3rd. Even though he knew the game, we kind of all do, considering it's Donkey Kong clone (clunky one).

FrizzleFried - 3,100

After 3:
FrizzleFried - 7,000
mimic - 2,700

After 5:
FrizzleFried - 7,400

I'd suggest end date not this Sunday, but the following Sunday.

I wasn't ready for the hyper speed second level. Seemed like level 1 was playing at 1/2 speed.

I'll tell you what... if you or FrizzleFried will post a new game then it's on. I don't want to post new one for the sake of continuing while no one really cares to play it.
