Post by: str1der on February 17, 2004, 04:17:42 pm
Are there mini trackballs that would work well on a bartop cab?

Happs makes a 1.5" trackball, but it's pretty damn expensive...

Or hack a Logitech Trackball Mouse to use.  There's several models to choose from.

i have one of the units like menace posted, they are great for windows navigation but not the right feel for games I find.  Also, they wont stand upto much abuse for games like marble madness.

I was in a Ruby Tuesday's a little while ago for lunch in East Lansing, MI, and they had a bartop Golden Tee sitting right on the bar.  This was a tiny bartop, a little smaller than my Happy Hour cabinet (http://www.skum.org/bartop).  It had a trackball in it about the size of a golfball.  I guess that probably had to be the Happ 1-1/2" one, I don't know what else it would have been.
