I have a howler and I am working with a guy to build some Linux software for it.
I would like to give him one to facilitate the project and to thank him for the work he has already done.
Hard to find out there so I am wondering if anyone is selling one.
Don't see many posts about them on here, and none on eBay.
If you have one you are willing to part with or know some one that does, I'd like to get my hands on it for the project.

I am well aware of the drama and don't care.
I am not sure what your goal in sharing that thread is.
Its unfortunate that Josh handled the situation the way he did and left things in an incomplete state abandoning the community of users that supported his product.
As one of those users, my interest is to develop tooling for linux at my own expense for my benefit and that of others that have these controllers.
I am very familiar with https://github.com/wolfwaretech/Howler-Arcade-Controller-Firmware
Unfortunately the lack of documentation makes adapting that code difficult.
We are also leveraging
https://github.com/sferris/howler-controller
and
https://github.com/Mokosha/libhowler
Basically the way we have been debugging is via video conferencing with a webcam trained on my controller mockup so we can see how the LED lighting is working and me at the keyboard making code changes and executing commands.
I'd like to speed that up by getting one in the hands of the dev directly.

Sharing that thread answers these statements.
