The NBA Jam and Pacman cabinet are good looking cabinets. The Frogger cabinet is a bit of a clip-art mess. I don't think the original cabinet was all that great though.

Frogger looks terrible, even more so than the original cab, which is kind of a feat in and of itself. The pac-man 40th doesn't look so hot either. Generically replacing the yellow with woodgrain doesn't work since those art colors were chosen to go with yellow. Most side art has to be reworked to fit on these cabs and they've made a lot of questionable choices so far. They really need to hire some new people to re-work the art.

the buttons are the wrong color
the marquee doesn't have blue, and is a different image
the sideart is a different image
the bezel is fine.
the shade of woodgrain is fine.
the joystick color is fine.
either thats the art assets they were given, and didn't have access to the original.

Btw... I think the reason Frogger's art was changed is that the cabinet art is still owned by Gremlin.... just a guess.

Don't show me that. Now you all have to talk me off the ledge in regards to buying over-priced barstools. I mean yeah $80 is ridiculous for the quality but at 60 my trigger finger is itching.... TMNT looks particularly cool.
