Wow, that is kinda neat.  You should make a little standalone controller for it too, then it could be super-tiny-music-mame-in-a-box-with-touchscreen-project :)

86 left, keep us posted on how well it works out, I might grab one and give it a try too!!   ;D

Update.

There were only 2 downsides to this setup.
#1. Shipped with mono sound. I could have used supplied directions and moved a Surface Mounted resitor OR just pop in a cheap PCI Sound Card. I went with the PCI since i had one laying around.
#2. No power button.  Easily solved as there is PWR posts on the motherboard.

This thing would make a wonderful MegaTouch Bar console, but as for mine its jukebox/media all the way.

excellent find! I'll be using one for my wall mounted jukebox too, except with a PCI soundcard that'll line out into my old HK receiver. That'll sound killer through JBL ceiling speakers!

edit:  Does it look like the LCD can be seperated from the "PC case"? I'd love to throw one in my kitchen for internet access/recipe browsing

Alos, how is that 4am jukebox software? will it work with touchscreens like virtual music Jukebox? i am a complete touchscreen newbie, but i would assume touching the screen acts like a mouseclick on that spot so most software works with it  ???

This is currently an ongoing topic of discussion at mp3car.com forum.  In a nutshell heres what has been discovered/assumed......
The hirose can easily be replaced - just take it off, use your meter to trace the connections and give Quadrangle a call - they'll make up custom cables. The inverter controller cable can also be extended with the same method. Chances are, however, Quadrangle already has a cable kit that will work as for cost effective manufacturing the company that made the kisok wouldn't have 'reinvented the wheel'. If you took the hirose off both ends and traced it, you may find that it's 1:1. As far as the Elo cables go, you can use a DB9 serial cable and a header from a serial port to motherboard to extend them. Quadrangle site - http://65.36.150.178/vwlist.cfm?typ=26&mnf=2
I will keep you updated with any progress, There are many on mp3car that has bought this unit.

4AM is wonderful - my opinion is it was made for touchscreen.
