I have 3 zero delay USB boards that show up as Generic USB controllers in Windows 10. Installing them was a real pain as I would plug one in as Joy 1 then add the 2nd which would show up as Joy 2 then when I plug in the 3rd it would switch places with Joy 2. I have 3 banks of USB ports on my PC, 4 in the front, a row of 2 on the rear, below it another 4 then another 4 below that for USB 3.0. I spent an hour plugging and unplugging each one in random ports until I had the order correct. Then at some point, after a reboot more than likely, they switched order again! Urgh.
Has anyone seen this before? Is there a workaround before I throw these in the trash?
Thanks!

I would be interested in advice on this also,
Normally my boards stay configured, even after a cold shutdown of the PC. However if you remove the USB cables from the PC, you need to reconfigure then

It's been years since I looked into this, but I remember using a utility before that ordered USB devices in order to keep them in place.
Not sure if this is it, but should hopefully give you a starting point.

In theory, it should be no different than solving for ordering multiple USB controllers on a PC.

Awesome, thanks! I'll give this a go and see if it does the trick!
