Has anyone gotten a Griffin Technologies Powermate to work as a spinner? if so, How?

I jest, but... it's a couple versions back kinda old, but likely still applicable in modern mame.

I had one. It doesn't compare to a real spinner, not to mention the version I had would randomly disconnect and need to be unplugged/replugged. It felt hollow and didn't free spin. I would recommend the TT spinner by ggg or possibly the GRS spinner on Amazon.
