Title: Hacking Super Off Road Steering Wheels

Has anyone successfully hacked the optic boards on a Ivan Stewarts Super Off Road? I have a U-HID that I want to run the 3 wheels and pedals off of unless there is a better solution. All 3 wheels have the original optic boards. If anyone has a different solution, please share the details.

I used an Arduino Mega2560 to interface those.
