HSN is advertising the wallcade for pac-man.
No price yet, and no other titles:

Maybe more details will be released.

I think everyone will agree that the ergonomics on this are terrible.
-
Thanks Negative1.
Do you just Google "---smurfy--- arcade cash grab" and then share the link every day?
-
I actually am interested in the developments that Arcade1up is doing. I think it's worthy of some news, but why -1 is posting everything here? :dunno
-
link is up : https://www.hsn.com/products/arcade1up-3-in-1-partycade-with-pac-man-galaga-and-gala/9327006
$199, which is fine for it.
I will wait for the defender / joust one, if that makes it out.
not sure what you're talking about, this is A1UP forum.

That looks terrible, I can't see where the market would be for this?

there are people that don't have room for the mini cabinets,
and that don't like the smaller size of the countercades.
this way, you can hang it on a door, play it on a table, or mount it on a wall.
which gives a lot more flexibility, to say, a dorm room, a bedroom, etc.

I get what they intended, it just seems to me the casual player would opt out. If you're that short on space, use a joystick connected to a TV.
We'll see. I've inaccurately predicted a few things with the A1UP product line and crowd.

i'm getting one, just because they don't have a dedicated joust/defender unit.
that is if it makes it out. if it doesn't, i might get the centipede one, and mod it for more trackball games.
not sure about their strategy, they seem to be trying to offer more games in each unit, 3 instead of 2.
so that's why there might be less cabinets.

You know what would be cool? If hsn and qvc would hire some actual nerds to be hosts so when interesting tech and electronics were featured on their network the hosts wouldn't come off as clearly reading off cards or talking out of their asses.

I agree, but the masses don't care.
They still sell out for the casual buyers, so in the end they still profit.
