Looking for some direction. I just got a used kortek 2601m. It powers on, I can hear the monitor come on and the gun is lit/glowing, but no picture. I dont have anything connected to it, but usually when I turn the screen way up on most chassis Ill get a white screen. here nothing.
The tube is known good. Any ideas? Ive never seen this before.

first stop is the HOT, it supplies horizontal deflection as well as the pulses used to create the high voltage in the flyback...
likely it has gone open if the fuses aren't all blown out. (which is good) replace the HOT as well as whatever is being used as a pre-driver (likely an IC but check your schematic.) that will give you your best chance at resurrection. check for open circuit from the HOT through the flyback.

Thanks, that would explain why my gun is working but no picture is coming from the board I think. Ive never tried to troubleshoot HOT before. Ive only seen a video where Jason discussed that transistor going bad sometimes, I should be able to figure it out though. Can you tell me how to properly request a schematic? I cant find one online. Ken doesn't have one on his site.

I cant find one online either, I know kortek often clones other boards, if you post a snapshot of the board from a few different angles, perhaps it is similar enough to something else that we can wing it or at least point out what you need to look at/replace.
