Title: R-74 top lock will not open top cabinet

Hello, I have the correct key and it turns a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the way but the "mechanism" behind it seems "frozen". I believe this is how i access the relays for sticky buttons.

Any suggestions on how to fix this

Hello muskie,

If you are careful you can prise the top lid open using a couple of flat blade screwdrivers, there are about four catches on the lid two where the keyboard is fixed to the frame and two further along the lock assembly.
