So this is the chicken? Or is it the egg? Sorry I only had posts in the "I'm a cheapskate" thread, and thanks for trying to tip us off!

Hard to believe a thread titled Neo Geo for $60 didn't arouse any interest.

Well that was last September when they were still selling for $100 !

Yeah, unfortunately they couldn't even get the buttons laid out correctly. Not worth it even at zero dollars.

Much like the psx, if it drops to $20 I'll buy one. I say that as I've fired up my psx classic three times and two of those times were to test a projector.

It'll look cute in my office. If someone steals it, I won't lose too much sleep over it.

I'd rather see a Neo Geo Mini that looks like a home console (AES- was it?).

The AES was the home version, The mini is based off the Japanese MVS cabs.

That came out years ago and was called neogeo gold x.
:lol
Anyway, the hacks are progressing rapidly for the mini. Soon.

And so was the Mini, but to a lesser extent. If they made something that looked like the dock for the Gold, but scaled to the size of the SNES classic, I'd buy it just for the shell, and put a Raspberry Pi inside. I love these tiny game systems.
