I have a standard street fighter cabinet that I converted to mame and would like some advice for adding a steering to this unit. Most pc steering wheels I have seen have a flat bottom that would not attach very well to my current configuration.
If anyone could offer some advice I would appreciate it

I remember seeing one person example cab where they had a couple of brackets underneath the control panel, then had the steering wheel attached to a piece of wood that slid into the brackets, cant remember the site but I do have an image....

Arcade wheels are probably easier to mount, but you'll have to interface it, and perhaps clean up / restore if you get one second hand - have a look on ebay :)
Also note that PC wheels are always ~270 degree ones, whereas arcade games used 270 and 360 degree (spinner type) wheels. Depending which driving games you prefer you should get the appropriate type (or both): 270deg wheel for OutRun, Chase HQ etc., 360deg wheel for Super Spring, APB etc.

OK I have looked at every project and now know what i need but I still need help.
I am going to mout the steering wheel to the front of the cabinet on the flat part of the control panel. I have no lip so it will need to attach via suction cups. I would also like it to have a tilt wheel if that exists in a reaonable priced model
