Title: Happ trackball question about PCB's
Post by: boslaw2 on August 15, 2019, 11:21:56 am
I have an old Happ trackball with green PCB's. The trackball no longer registers horizontal movement, so I suspect one of the PCB's doesn't work. Can I replace the old green PCB's with the newer red PCB's? The trackball is the kind with the PS2/USB interface.

Thanks

You can but you will need to swap the dir and clk wires in your harness.  I believe these are the two outside wires in the 4 pin molex connector

I don't have the trackball in front of me, but are you talking about a molex from the trackball to the PCB? From PCB to computer is connected by USB.

The connector on the optic boards on the trackball.
