Title: CGA to VGA issue
Post by: Brandon101884 on August 05, 2019, 08:21:43 pm
I have a CGA to VGA switcher for a JAMMA game in a cabinet. Everything has been fine with it for over a year but all of the sudden it’s displaying “out of range”. I did some research and some have suggested to simply hit the “Auto” button. Doing so will switch inputs and find the correct one. Well, that’s not working. I also can’t do it manually because I cannot see the menu. Has anyone run into this problem? What exactly IS the problem? Is the resolution on the monitor too high for the JAMMA? Any ideas to correct this and prevent it from occurring again?

I’ve considered getting a TV and converting it to HDMI. Would I have the same issue as I am with the monitor?

sounds like the converter is faulty or voltage to converter is missing
