Title: Sega model 2B not networking

Hi

My first post here.

Ok, I have two Sega Indy 500 racing cabs, one that I built a few years ago, and one I converted from Sega Touring Car a few weeks ago.

When set up as `TWIN` and `MASTER/SLAVE`, both machines hang on `V2.00 - Checking Network`

So - Both machines have the identical ROM set, comms board.
And,  I have tried :

• swapping master and slave.
• a total of 3 comms boards.
• old original sega optic cables
• new optic fibre cables
• swapping RX and TX over
• `loopback` on both machines

What I have noticed, is that when - with no optic cables plugged in, the TX on both machines is lit upon power-up, but go off when the network tries to link.

Please help, as I SO want to get these machines linked for 2 player Indy 500, as its a bit sorry with the sign `Not 2 player` on them,as the sit side by side.
