I finally got around to hooking up my trackball the other night and I notice that when its all hooked up, the cursor just wiggles on the screen when you roll the ball-The optipac thats driving it was detected fine and reports no errors. Are there settings in windows XP that can affect this or do i have a bum unit (its an older suzo 22-0460). The settings on the optipac are A/HI and I tried A/LO but didn't even get a wiggle that time.
I tested it with the mouse unplugged right from startup so it was the only pointing device being detected.
anyone have any guesses?

Maybe adjust the mouse speed/acceleration?
