Title: valvo vcc 91 chassis - unable to adjust horizontal size
Post by: perjmolsen on April 30, 2019, 05:29:44 am
Hi

I have got an old German manufactured Arcade cabinet, model TV-IDEAL

In this cabinet there is an arcade monitor with an valvo vcc 91 chassis.
Documentation to the chassis can be found here ->
http://files.arcadeinfo.de/Monitore/Valvo%20Compact%20Chassis%20VCC%2091.pdf

The monitor is turned vertical.
My issue is that I am unable to find the adjustment pot that adjusts the normal with of the picture.
I have tried to turn the "L102" H-ampitude but it does not seem to change anything ( I have turned it 2-3 times both ways, nothing happens)

If i try to turn "P 301" H-Bildlage I can move the picture.

What can be the cause for the missing stretch of the picture?

I do now know when, or the chassis has got a cap kit replacement job.. The picture looks "OK" the agte of the game and so on, so A cap kit where not my first guess..

Hmm just noticted that there is a "L101" - H - linearität.
That adjustment pot mig be the one that adjust the horizontal size...

Why is it not on english  :D

It's really only L102 but the core needs to be turned many times to make any change and in any case it will be a small change.

Hi

Ok thanks !

I where unsure what L102 did, because i could not see any changes on the screen, so i did not want to turn it to much.

Hi

I Have now turned L102   all the way down in the coil and it did the picture wider, but not all the way, still missing 1-2 cm
Can the reason be bad caps?
