So I started by framing out a utility room.

Then after I did all that I framed out the bathroom: (not shown jack hammering up the concrete to move the sink/toilet drains that were roughed in wrong by the builders)

Then drywall went up (not shown, all the plumbing and electrical)

Looks good. No fancy lights or wall decor?
The ceiling lights are pretty baller LED thingies. I put pot lights in above the laundry nook. As for Wall decor, this is all I got:

Great work on building that own rooms and a nice selection of machines there. It's funny, seeing the picture where you filled out the gaps in the wall, my first though was "Can I use spackle tape to fill gaps in my arcade build?!".

Lew, did you lay your plank vinyl over an existing floor, or did you pull up at was there?

The last couple times I've put in floors, I used old school 3/4" hardwood. What I like about the vinyl plank is it seems like it is very durable. Especially if you have dogs. It looks killer.
If I had laminate, I'd go right over it. If it was tile, a floating floor, or hardwood - I imagine the original flooring material would have to come up.

That is really nice, I can appreciate the amount of work that was, especially done tired, and on weekends, Awesome :cheers:... That Comet in the corner seems really dreamy I hope there is a build thread around here somewhere on that, because I missed out on that one.
I have a ton of pix of that project, I'll try to get a thread up by the end of the week. Its the actual first pinball I ever played. It was at the go kart track near my house, and my uncle bought it when the placed closed its doors. Sat in his basement for 30ish years. Ton of work to get it back up to snuff. Stripped PF, vectorized print on vynil, 5 layers of automotive clear, new FreePlay40 ramps and probably the best lit Comet in existence.

My lofty dreams of building 2 cabs for head to head wont come to fruition, but I'll likely mix and match the best parts to make one really good cab. Still no idea wehat Im going to do with the Midway Universal I have.

I'm starting to really like that stuff.The more expensive plank stuff more durable, thicker, etc. No stop on the door needed, that door is unused (we never go into the backyard) and we're putting the house on the market. If the cab gets dinged during house tours I can fix it :)
