Title: Old I-Pac4 can't find software on the Ultimarc website
Post by: mimic on April 14, 2019, 03:28:08 pm
Maybe someone here will recognize this I-PAC or Andy will show up at some point, if not I guess I'll contact him directly.

I can't find the software for it. I remember having software installed that whole keyboard showed and I was able to test every key connected. I also remember having something programmed wrong and couple keys showing double. So I need to test it again if all joysticks show unique keys and eventually reset it, if not.

Try this. If dos-based, the other file may help.

If the above doesn't work, you can try this (Windows version 2.08)

Works on modern windows with my circa-2004 IPAC4.

Both may work, though yours likely will work over mine - 2003 versus 2006.

Finally got around to installing the files and both see the key inputs and IPAC, but both fail to program it. One says "timeout' and the other "Resetting iPac Please Wait" followed by "FAILED! Reconnect IPAC"
Suckage. Do I need to contact ULTIMARC?

EDIT: So I came to a definitive conclusion that is not my wiring, but something is off with the IPAC. I moved non working inputs to a different locations and it works. Wonder if the 2 LED diodes supposed to be on at all times, or does that indicate something is wrong?
