Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I did search and couldn't find the answer.
I currently have one of the imperial tballs with built in ps2 interface that sell regularly on ebay. I am planning on buying a model 3 w/usb interface from oscar.
Will this work? Will they be seen as 1 mouse?
I'll be running mame32 in Win 2k.
Thanks in advance,
chadius

I have a imperial 3" TB (also from ebay, that comes with 3 arcade buttons) w/ a PS/2 connection and a USB spinner(hacked mouse) on my CP and both work just fine together in WinXP, no conflicts! So, basically there are 2 mice (one USB, the other PS/2) working fine together with no problems.
Hope that answers your question :D

That answers my most important question. That I CAN get it to work.
I'm assuming that as far as windows is concerned they are 1 mouse? So there is a single mouse pointer and the spinner and tball both move it? Which then means in mame I need to be careful not to nudge the trackball when playing arkanoid?
Thanks again,

Yes, there is only one pointer and both devices can move it. And yes, if you're little dork of a cousin/brother/whoever start spinning the trackball while your using the spinner, you will need to throw them out the window ;D. It'll just be 2 devices fighting for control, but it shouldn't cause any problems (ie crashes, BSOD)
