Title: sad day..... A friend and mentor of mine died .

I lost a good friend today. At work. I work 3rd shift. we all go to our cars and have lunch at 2am .
at 3:30 am we noticed Ricardo had not come back in. This is not like him... we thought maybe he fell asleep. (it happens on 3rd shift)
we went to his car to wake him. we found him dead in his car. hart attack we guess?   :cry:
rest in piece my friend. he was a good man.

Last month a childhood friend of mine died suddenly (I hadn't seen him in 20+ years though) and 2 days before that a guy I went to college with also died suddenly (same).  Crazy.  Feels like I'm too young (44) for this stuff.

Damn, Sorry to hear about that. As for me I got a funeral to go to on Tuesday. One of  my friends who helped me do the first stage of my garden a few years back recently chose to suddenly die.  :angry: Such a waste. Didn't show any outward signs when I saw him a few days before he did it.

This happened ten years ago with a guy I knew growing up. I didn't know him well. I had happened to run into the kid/guy who introduced me to him, who told me of seeing him die in the hospital. As my mom has said in the last couple decades: everyone's dying. Most of the people they've known are gone.

Going to fill strange walking into work tonight.
Hope they do not ask me to run his machine. I might have to go home on that. Not ready to do that yet
