Title: Wells garnder D9200 and crt_emudriver 2.0 changing resolutions.

I have read that changing resolutions is not a good idea for the monitor. Is this true?  Can I set it up just to have two settings one for horizontal and one setting for vertical on a horizontal monitor?  How do I do this so it is always 640x480 horizontal and the vertical equivalent.
