Title: Updating Groovymame, which folders do I keep from previous ver?
Post by: Neilalphazeta on February 17, 2019, 05:31:17 pm
I'm considering upgrading to Groovy 0206 from 0205b since I noticed no roms were rendered non working in my sets, but my concern is having to readjust all the control setups which I spent a few hours setting up for each game. Also the service menu settings as well. Does anyone know which folders contains the files that I would want to preserve to retain these?
Thank you.

The /cfg folder stores the changes you make from MAME's ui.

The /ini folder stores the ini files you create manually.

You may also want to keep the /hi folder in case you were using the hiscore plugin.
