About 20% of the time when I start Mamewah it opens either:
1. Not full screen with focus
2. "full" screen, but with the taskbar showing
This is of course a bit of a pain when your trying for a no key/mouse needed setup.
Can anyone offer some suggestions to bullet proof my start up so Mamewah performs as intended? I'm running XP pro and would like to simply put mamewah in my startup folder.

Can you confirm which version you are using?
I remember both of these problems a few versions ago, but no-one has mentioned it since I (thought I'd) fixed it...

Thanks much for the reply Minwah!
v0.963
Coincendently enough, when I went to check my version I opened up Mamewah and there was my title bar.
I don't doubt for a second this is due to user error on my part. I'm just dying for some advice on how to fix it.

It doesn't sound like anything you could do wrong to be honest, so I'm not sure what the problem is :(
Try using a layout at different resolution, let me know what happens...

you may be on to something there. ill let you know. does mamewah in general need to mirror the windows resolution?

No it shouldn't need to be, but it *may* help...

This is a common problem amoung all front ends...... turn off any screen managment programs (like nvidia and ati desktop managers) instant messanging programs and anything which occasionally calls itself to focus.

I had a similar probelm and running the desktop and the mamewah skin at the same resolution fixed the problem. Not sure why though...
