Alright, I just got my cp overlay laminate in the mail today! ;D Any suggestions on the best way to apply it to my cp? I got it from Classic Arcade Graphix if that helps. Should the stickem on the back side of it be plenty to keep it down or is something in addition good? Should I sick it to the bare mdf or should I prepare the surface with a primer first? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks! :)

Wait custom laminate you said ?
From wilsonart right?
Did you get to buy just the small piece for your CP ?
Wasnt there a minimum purchase for custom laminate ???
As for installing, get some contact cement and a fine roller.
apply contact cement on both wood and laminate, wait atleast 30 minutes before putting them together. Then wait like atleast 4-5 hours so the laminate is glued nicely and trim with router+laminate cutting bit.You can use a plexi glass cutter instead if you dont have a router. :)

My bad, I guess it is actually custom cp overlay rather than laminate... should I still need to go with contact cement on both sides like you saying? Sounds sticky, but I suppose that is good since I don't want it to come up later. Thanks,

Anyone? :) Just want to make sure I am doing this right before starting on any of it... Thanks. ;D

You do know you put a plexi glass or lexan on top of the artwork to protect it right ?
Use 3M spray adhersive to attach the artwork.Dont use contact cement for vinyl(duh).

I wasn't planning on doing a lexan or plexi glass covering. I was planning on putting down the laminated cp overlay and just using it since it has a plastic coating. I like the idea of having a textured cp and not having to bolt down an overlay. I guess if it sucks I can always redo it, but I think that it should work all right. ;D
Sorry about being a bother about this... thanks for the tips.
