I am building a skee ball game for my church youth group and I need some help on the scoring electronics. I have read several posts and I still do not have a complete product. I am using the classic 7 hole scoring system. Two holes are 100 points, one hole is 50 points, one hole is 40 points, one hole is 30 points, one hole is 20 points and one hole is 10 points. I have installed the original type micro switches at the hole exits. I am going with a single player setup with a score reset after game completion. I prefer large (>2 inches height) LED segments for the scoring. The score needs to be highly visible at 15 feet in daylight and at night. I plan on using a micro controller using Arduino programming. Any help is appreciated.

Have you considered adding a "gutter-ball" switch for shots that fall short of the 10-ring?
Here are a number of good skee-ball threads that you might find useful -- some link to scoring software.

If the microswitches aren't as reliable as you'd like (arms popping off, etc.), you might consider using 3mm Adafruit 2167 (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2167) beam break sensors and 3d printed mounts like these (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2932740) instead.

Thanks for the information. I have accessed all those forums and had no luck with my design. Not using the gutter ball scoring.
