Does anything like this exist? I need it bad:)
I have an original, beautiful Asteroids Deluxe cab, and simply CANNOT fix the vector monitor, I'm going to keep it whole, and continue to try and restore, but in meantime I'd like to slide a monitor in to make it work MAME style, LOVE the blacklight effect.
I've looked everywhere for a way to reverse the image.
ANY ideas?
Thanks SO much for any help

CRT or LCD?
If CRT, just flip the Y wires around on the chassis, brown and yellow if memory serves.

Some, very few, LCD's have the option to flip x/y. But all raster (standard monitors) can do this by flipping the yoke as Malenko mentioned.
Here's an article on how to do it http://www.therealbobroberts.net/yoke.html (http://www.therealbobroberts.net/yoke.html)
And a standard res monitor will fit right in your cabinet in the existing mounts and you can use the existing isolation transformer as well.

Thank you gentlemen, I'd prefer an LCD for obvious weight reasons:) And ease of mounting, but will settle for a CRT, just hope local thrifts have some left!
Still, anyone know other ways to reverse the image, possible dongle or software for LCD?
Thanks again

I know some industrial panels have mirror modes, I think some TVs do too in their service menus. You'll have to do some research.
