I have a stack of IBM netvista 933's They have 128m ram cdrom floppy and 10 gig drives. The os on each varies between 98se 2000 and XP pro They all have built in sound and video and I will include a nic card also.
The only down side to em is no agp slot if you want to add a video card it has to be pci other then that the run flawless. They are single button startup and shut down...no reset button...... and they will do softshutdown.......hit the power button and it shuts windows down then turns off.
I woud prefer not to ship them in there cases as they are heavy buggers (IBM industrial desktop cases) but if anyone wants to pick up the extra shipping I will.
If you are local I have a stack of 15" monitors also.
I have one of these running in my cab and it works great.
Send me any offers. I am looking for ...... in trade... A nice spinner (oscar DOT would be great) starwars style yoke, I-pacs, Opti-pacs, and joys, would also be interested in full working machines or pins.

Yeah it runs everything except CHD's of course. Some of the newer non CHD's run a tad slow if going through windows but from dos they are all acceptable. The only "slow games are like Ultimate Mk and a couple other of the newer games. All the neo geo stuff seems to work great like KOF, MS, etc Just the newer midway stuff that crunches the processor to try and make the sound happen.

Ok for all who have pm'd me and anyone else interested seems the price is gonna be $100 + shipping for mobo cpu ram hard drive and cdrom..... I can also send with the power supply though shipping will be slightly more. The power supply is not very big or heavy but with everything else the weight is still going to be getting up there.
You can figure shipping will be about $15 add a couple bucks with power supply. If it is anymore then that I will pick up the difference if it is less I will put the leftover in the box and send it back to you.

These are IBM are more than likely proprietary guts. Meaning you probably won't be able to put them into another case or use them with a different power supply.
I'm not training to dump on your thread Techoverload, I'm just trying to make sure people know what they are buying.
If I'm wrong let me know and I'll delete this post with my apologys.

hmm i would really hope that they work with diff power supplies or else it would be useless to me =\ any confirmation on this?

No they will work with ANY standard ATX powersupply......... again I have one of these screwed to the inside of my cab with a ATX PS from Comp USA. The pinouts for the power switch and led's are kinda funky but I am including the harness, switch and light assembly.
If it needed something proprietary I would have posted accordingly.
The only plus to the original powersupply is it has an osha approved near silent fan inside it. Then again on the down side it is a fairly small (watt wise) supply.

Very cool techoverlord, my apoligies for doubting you. I just wasn't sure if you even knew if they were proprietary or not. I have very little experience with IBM pc's but most every major PC maker uses at least some proprietary parts so I wanted to put up a flag to at least check.

No problem, Most makers have gotten away from using major parts that are proprietary for a couple reasons, It cost them more money tp have the parts special made and end users tend to complaine now that PC's are common and more and more end users are upgrading, modifying, overclocking...etc.
You do see some annoying things though... I ended up with a pc awhile back...think it was a dell but I'm not sure.......had a top of the line asus board in it..model kv7t or some such thing, reviews on it were awsome because it was so overclock friendly and it was rock stable.... however dell had replaced the originall bios and had removed all the jumpers from the board.
Anyway more on topic these are normal IBM mobo they are small form factor atx's Intel Coppermine Pentium III 933MHz (256KB), 128MB, 10GB IDE HDD, Intel 810e, 48X CD-ROM.
They are nice machines with very little use on them.... They came from a medical transcription company and were just used as remote view stations to be able to log into the digital voice recording systems to do maitanience and the such..... 90% of the time they just sat ideal doing nothing in a "cold room".

Hey I have a question for the guys using these machines, or planning to. I have a setup very similar to this that is not in use because I cant seem to find an inexpensive source for PCI video cards with TV out on them. Ive had the same problem with several other motherboards that Ive come across and have had to keep passing because I dont want to invest another $50 just to get the video working. does anyone have a good cheap solution? thanks.

i think 50$ for a TV out is the best youre gonna get really.
also sorry tech but i ended up ordering a bunch of parts off pricewatch. I wanted something with a little more power. so you can take me off the wanting list

Pricewatch has tons of cheap video out cards, 10-20$. I don't know if they are reliable sites. And they are low end cards like 8 to 16 megs.
