Title: programable 7800 multicart (cuttlecart II)
Post by: crsdawg on February 05, 2004, 04:26:10 am
not sure if anyone's interested, but the guy making the cuttlecart II is now taking pre-orders.

this thing is pretty cool(although a bit on the expensive side). it's a 7800 multicart that accepts mmc cards.

here's the link (http://www.schells.com/cc2.shtml)

by the way, i'm not in any way affiliated with schell's electronics. just giving a heads up.

At $200 dollars, I will pass.  Now, if they had something like that for a different console (maybe something as old as a SNES) I would go for that.   Well on the other hand, if I had one of those handheld ataris(real cool idea, someone hacked up a 2600 into something the size of a game gear I think) I might consider that product.

Super cool idea.  Now if it came out 15-20 years ago, that would have been great.

bah, now I am rambling.

Talking of snes, I soo badly wanted one of these, the snes cd game station. Just write your roms to a cd and away you go. I emailed them but they said they no longer stock them :(
