Tapper, also known as Root Beer Tapper, is a 1983 arcade game developed by Marvin Glass and Associates and released by Bally Midway.[1][2] Tapper puts the player in the shoes of a bartender who must serve eager, thirsty patrons before their patience expires[3] while collecting empty mugs and tips.
Originally sponsored by Anheuser-Busch, the arcade version features a Budweiser motif.[4] It was intended to be sold to bars, with cabinets sporting a brass rail footrest and drink holders. Early machines had game controllers that were actual Budweiser beer tap handles, which were later replaced by smaller, plastic versions with the Budweiser logo on them.[5] The re-themed Root Beer Tapper followed in 1984, which was developed specifically for arcades because the original version was construed as advertising alcohol to minors.

Beer.
Angry patrons want more beer. You serve them, and they slide backwards whilst drinking it, as bar patrons are wont to do. Push them off screen to clear them from the bar; when all the bars are clear, next level!
Bonus levels in between: you want to open the beer that wasn't shaken up by the hamburglar or whatever.
I'm no scoring expert at this but I sure did love it on my Colecovision as a kid. I imagine going for longer levels and picking up tips is probably better than trying for quick level clears, but I'm not sure on that. Beer. Beer beer beer.

Probably my last score, too, as I'm leaving for vacation. We'll see if I can push my own PB up.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180722/0342c008dab03b30a18040c5a5dbd518.jpg)

Milk the first two boards for a start of ten thousand or so. Past that it ramps up and will get you. I made this mistake this game. Shell game should be a staple (and easy if you cheat and track it with your finger). I ended on level 5.
Also, I notice the previous comps have been twelve days. Is there a reason this one is three weeks?

73,375. That took a lot of cursing and yelling. Strangely, I seem to get better when I stop caring about the score and just play.

You'd think after making enough of these posts I'd stop screwing them up. Thanks for the heads up Mr. Peabody!
Nice scores all around, maybe I'll see if I can spend a few hours this evening and try to claw my way back to the top
-
Done! Mr. Peabody, your turn to choose the next game.
-
PMed Mr. Peabody, no response. Soo, since j.fitzenr made the second place, would you like to do the next game? Or should we ask epetti?
-
I'm good either way. Happy to create one if needed or leave it to j.fitzenr.
-
I forced y'all to play Prehistoric Isle in 1930. I'll let epetti do this one ;)
-
Cool. I'll get something setup later today.
