Title: Fairly cheap IO interface for RPi
Post by: DaOld Man on June 14, 2018, 12:20:11 am
This looks interesting. A PiHat with enough inputs for 6 button arcade cab, and an amplified (mono) speaker output.
Also has safe power down input.
15.75 USA Dollars.

Got 2 of those. The HAT version and a breakout one which does stereo. The HAT one has a safe power down built in which is pretty nice

Problem is - I have more enthusiasm than time!

So have you tested it yet?
I think it would be ideal for Cabinets built for one player only.
Does the breakout one have two player inputs?

Now we are talking.  I am surprised that it took so long for this type of a board to be available...
