Greets all....I can't believe my luck as for once it was amazing.
Over the weekend I picked up a brand new/in box Concept 4 steering wheel (with rumble feedback-- and it's very strong!) for my Dreamcast that's integrated into my arcade cab....for $3.50! The original price was almost $70.!
Thankfully I made my cab with an interchangable control panel option as I was hoping to find a steering wheel at some point....it's fantastic!

By the way, I picked it up at a Game Stop in NJ. It was the only one they had.

Yeah dreamcast stuff is cheap now a day.
I got the madcatz dc steering for like $6(that used to be $50 LOL).

you know what.... you now need to build a sit down cab...

my car was broken down a couple wks ago....
(leaking braking fluid...)
I was thinking... damm... this is bad...
when I went to get the car fixed.... (you know... hanging
around... chit-chat and stuff...) I found out that they are
cutting from 1 suv to get stuffs for another suv (sort of like combining 2 trashed suvs into 1 working one...)
so I asked... hey... what do you do with those car seats ??
do you sell it back to junk yard or something ??...
surprisingly... they told me... nah... we throw them out all the time !!!!! I'm like... WHAT ?!?!?!?!? :o :o :o :o :o ok... long story short... now they'll call me if they have any good condition car seats.... (sport style)....
I'm waiting for my phone call....
if I get lucky... I'll let you guys know... heee hee....

....believe me, if I had the space I would be working on a sit down cab for sure!
I would love to hook up a force feedback wheel into a dedicated cab with a playstation 2 or a PC.
Unfortunately, I don't have the space!

PS- I've been searching high and low for games for my new wheel....they're getting harder to find but they're so cheap! If you haven't seen it yet, EB is dumping all used Dreamcasts for $19.95!!!!....that's a serious bargain! I would buy a second one if I didn't alread have two!

Free is always good but real racing style car seats can be had for pretty cheap. Thats what I'm planning to use for my sit down.

well.... real racing car seats will never be as comfortable as the front seat of a modern sedan / coupe...
I would hope if I get lucky... I might get something like a good 6 way or 8 way power seat !!!.... ;D ;D ;D (keeping my fingers crossed...)
well... of course... there's no free lunch... I'll of course give him some $$ for the effort and so on....
but if it happens... even for like $40-$50.... it'll be a very good deal.... ;D ;D
