Does anyone have the specs on the original 720 joystick, as far as stick length above the control panel, angle, and diameter or circumference of the circular stick travel path? The only docs I've been able to find are specs on the PCB and I don't have access to an original machine nearby. I'm planning on trying to build a spinner knob to simulate the joystick since the originals are about impossible to find or prohibitively expensive. But I would like to get the control as close to the size/angle of the original as possible. Appreciate any help!

Here are some detailed diagrams:

I took some rough measurements:
>> stick length above the control panel
2 inches measured to the center of the joystick ball
>> angle of the circular stick travel path?
71.5 degrees (angle of the joystick)
>> diameter or circumference of the circular stick travel path?
1.5 inches (from the center of the stick at the control panel surface)
Hope that helps!

Yes, that's perfect, thank you so much. I would have been way off on the diameter, going from memory. Really appreciate you taking the time to answer. 720 is one of my favorite games from my youth. Do you have an original 720 cab?

No just the joystick.

I’m restoring one. I’m going to do a full rebuild of my joystick.

How is that resto going?
