Hi all, I can get a max fire touch screen jukebox for next to nothing. I know nothing about these and see it seems to be a European subscription based thing. Everything works but I don’t want to pay a subscription for a home unit. Is there anything I can do to make this work locally and play music without paying a fee?
Thanks

in any case, the maxfire software CAN be sort of hacked to run if it hasn't been disabled. but you are going to be limited to the 1000 or so songs loaded on the hard drive.
but, because the hardware is 100% pc based, and the touchscreen is a standard 3m touch interface and will emulate mouse clicks when pressed... you may as well just plop windows on there and play spotify or load some other jukebox software.
