Is anybody using Groovymame for PC-Engine Emulation?
I have very bad tearing effects for all vertical scrolling games, e.g. 1943 or Galaga 88.
This only seems to happen in the PC-Engine driver "pce".
Everything is fine with the arcade or snes drivers.
I have tried to change frame_delay and vsync_offset in pce.ini. But nothing seems to help.

Lots of views but no reply.
Is anybody using Groovymame for PC_engine?
Can you confirm if you have tearing or not?
-
If I remember correctly PC Engine runs in a resolution that's over 240 lines, so it sounds like your setup is having to downscale vertically.
-
But normally Groovmame should choose the resolution automatically.
I have a trisync-Monitor. So 2560x288 or even more is no problem.

I enter the thread, no log yet, I leave the thread.

I used to play kyukyoku tiger with groovymame
I never experienced or noticed any tearing.
???

Driver uses 242 vertical lines so maybe picture is shrinked into 240 lines.

I have also tried higher resolutions than 240 lines. No difference.
I will post a log on the weekend.
Though that a log might not help that much for something like tearing.

I have changed from Groovymame to emu4crt (Mednafen fork).
Eveyrthing o.k. there.
Thank you,
