Title: BYOAC Discord Community

EDIT: Just realized there is already an official Discord server for Reddit /r/cade, (https://discordapp.com/invite/xubHuua) so going to delete this BYOAC server. Don't really see the point in both.

Hey folks,

Discord is pretty dang popular these days as a persistent chat platform centered around communities. I've found it extremely helpful in many ways for different things.

As BYOAC doesn't have one, I went ahead and made a Discord Server for BYOAC:

It's 100% free to sign in and participate. You can access it in the browser or download the Discord App and keep it running in the background all the time. It's not necessarily "official" (yet), but feel free to hop on and chat with others, ask questions, help others, etc. Maybe easier and faster to get support questions than the forums sometimes. The more people on there the better.

I would advise to try to use the same Nickname as your BYOAC handle, just to make things clear.

If Saint, or anyone else wants to help moderate it, just let me know.

We've already got a chatroom.  It's called Everything Else.

This sorta bums me out.  There are days I would love to talk to you guys in real time just to ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- and get things off my chest.  No homo.

Not sure if this works for you, but BYOAC has two text-based chatrooms.

- The newer one linked at the top of each forum page (under the sub-forums) appears to be broken.   :banghead:

- The old one linked from the Front Page (http://arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm) still works.   ;D
(left column, 3rd button from bottom)

The direct link is http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/chat/ (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/chat/).

Just post this direct link and invite people to join in.

I'll be there for a while if you (or anyone else) is so inclined.   :cheers:

You guys want me to remake the Discord server?

Also, sorry but the BYOAC chat thing.... it doesn't really hold a candle to Discord, Slack, etc... Especially considering multiple text and voice channels, cross platform on your phone, computer, etc...

Anyways, want me to remake it and try this again?
