Title: Finding H series dualshocks

Is it realy all that hard to find series H dual shocks?  I ask because I want to make my own ddr pads and I found this guy who can solder leads onto one of the newer controlers and then turn around and sell them to me for $40, which seems like an awful lot to me, but then again, it looks pretty hard to solder on the new ones.

Uh oh, I think I'm a dumbass.  According to the link it is H series.  Is that true?  OMG, I don't think I can solder like that.  $40 is sounding better already.

Armad1ll0's a pro, isn't he?  It scares the bejeebers outta me, too.

One suggestion might be, if you decide not to do it yourself, is to post a WTB ad here...you may (no promises) be able to find someone who'll do the job (or sell you a hacked interface they're not using) for less than the $40...

look under Soldering and you will see some good examples..  Especially look at the Basic steps of soldering and the flux.  

Next... Consider how many you plan on hacking.  And consider that it will take a while for the first one... But if you are doing 10+ you WILL get very good at it.  And it will be worth your time...  But probably not for the first few.

You can find one for $15 anywhere.
Just check EB games and gamestop.
Its not hard to hack anyway,series H has a PCB inside with big solder points.You dont HAVE to solder on the IC chip.
