Do any of you guys have trouble with the ball on your J-Stick constantly unscrewing? Have come up with a solution?
-
Other than Epoxy, you mean?
(See sig for details).
Seriously though, you might try some Loc-Tite threadlocker on it.
It's not as good as epoxy; but isn't as permanent, either.
-
Yep Lock-tite. You can get it back off if needed.
-
Thanks. I assume I can get that at the harware store?
-
I know for sure you can get it at auto parts places like NAPA or Autozone.

I had this problem initially, but then I grabbed the botton end of the shaft with some pliers, and twisted the knob on real tight with my hand. They haven't worked loose ever since!

You don't get to stink up the house that way though. ;D
I tend to follow the redneck way of repairing things:
1) If it moves, and it ain't 'spose to--use Duck Tape or Epoxy.
2) If it don't move, and it's 'spose to--git out the WD-40.
2a) If it still don't move--git a bigger hammer.
It WILL move--trust me.

as stated get some pliers and hold the metal stalk and then do it up worked for me

I think I've even seen it at Wal-Mart

Doesn't the j-stick shaft have a groove at the bottom that is perfect for a flat head screw driver to help you hold the shaft steady whilst you crank down the ball?

Absolutely! That's exactly what the slot is for..

The ball on my Do! Run Run does this same thing, thanks for the tips.

Yeah, sorry, I used the screwdriver not pliers... was just going from memory. :)
