Hello,
I have access to a CNC router. I was wondering if someone sells CNC router drawing plans that I can buy (or get for free) on a 4 player stand up arcade cabinet that would fit a modern day 30-40" LCD TV. Preferably plans that are 100% complete. If it has guides milled into the wood (on how to position the connecting pieces) - that would be even better! I am very new to CNC routers and have zero experience, but I have done some 3D modeling in the past. I also suck at wood working....
I'm also looking for CNC router plans for a Bartop Arcade plans for 2 players. Like a 23 or 24" inch PC monitor (widescreen).
Thanks!

Do the bartop first. There is zero need for 4-player MAME cabs. Ever. The hand full of times you'll play 4 players at once will not even be worth what you've spent on the additional joysticks and buttons.

Hello Nephasth,
Thanks for your response. I have 4 boys. I will be playing more than just MAME arcade games on the 4 player cabinet. Steam games like Castle Crashers.
It should get a ton of play.

https://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/ (https://www.classicarcadecabinets.com/) is a good resource for cabinet vectors for CNC. For the bartop, I'd recommend just buying a kit from Haruman's Customs. If you don't wanna buy, then if you google around you can find CNC files for the WeeCade pretty easy. Haruman even has his version, the Degenetron, available as a DL.

Hello Slippyblade,
I did find that website classicarcadecabinets.com before.... However the thing is that site has drawings for retro cabinets that aren't a good fit for a modern 30"-40" LCD TV, but instead old tube TVs. I'd have to heavily modify the CNC drawings, something I am not skilled at right now.
I was hoping someone already did that and has plans available.
I also did find Haruman's Customs website. I want to make his "Ultimate Widescreen https://www.harumancustoms.com/products/bartop-kits/ultimate-widescreen (https://www.harumancustoms.com/products/bartop-kits/ultimate-widescreen)" cabinet. I tried emailing him and asking if he would share his CNC drawing for it. He doesn't share or sell it. :( I did find his Degenetron cabinet drawings. But that's for a 19" screen and only 1 player.
I was hoping someone has CNC plans for a widescreen 23"-24" two player cabinet.

I get it. You don't want to do any of the actual "work". You're here for hand outs. Kick rocks.

Why re-create the wheel if someone else has already done the work 100 times and perfected it.
I guess you can call it lazy, but I call it smart.
I am taking a CNC Router Training class tonight. :dizzy:

---fudgesicle--- it.

Sorry dude, I don't know of any. I imagine if someone had CNC plans like that, they would be in production for sale. We mostly do custom builds by hand. If you are just making one cab, it is probably just as easy if not easier to cut and shape by hand.

I think a 4 player pedestal should be relatively easy to draw up. It’s a control panel on top of a box.
Just mount the TV on the wall - that part is easy.

I've been tempted to purchase one of these and just draw it up in Vcarve or Aspire for cutting:

Same here! The TV size is a bit small at 28" but it could be tweaked to fit a bigger one pretty easily im sure.
-
It is a freakin' box with a tv stuffed in it. You can draw one out with crayons and a ruler on paper in about 5 minutes.
With Vcarve you can design one for cutting in no time. It will take longer to cut it out than it does to design it.
-
I am learning vcarve now.
Making sure are the parts fit together perfectly right with the correct dimensions seems to be the difficult part.

That's where Sketchup comes in... See, now we're on the way to you making a design of your own! :applaud:
