Just 10 more years and these things will finally run Gauntlet Legends 100%.
Would also be nice if someone got Stepmania going on them.

They really need to incorporate an "audio in" (or mic) jack on them. (Or at least through GPIO)

Thanks vwalbridge, but I bought a usb sound stick that does pretty good, and a lot cheaper than that audio card. But it was a pain to setup.
It would be nice if they could just include audio input on the pi.

They are not perfect but have their uses (https://www.donorschoose.org/project/yet-another-slice-of-raspberry-pi-comput/3127219/?utm_source=dc&utm_medium=page&utm_campaign=ifproject&utm_term=teacher_1401890&rf=page-dc-2018-03-ifproject-teacher_1401890&challengeid=21052053).

I just play games and control a hot tub with my pi's.
I'm just a monkey with a sonic screwdriver making it do it's cool sound. LOL!

I have a set coming for one of my class rooms. I'll let ever one know what I think of it.

Micro center in Dallas has the Pi Zero W for 5$.
It's one of the slickest little gizmo's I've ever picked up. Flash a Micro flash card with a PI version of Debian, configure it completely on a PC. Then stick in in the pi and when the Pi boots up, you can just ssh into it from the PC. You never have to actually hook it up to a monitor, keyboard, mouse, anything.
And it runs off 5v from a MicroUSB port, so it can actually run straight off a usb port on you pc for setting it up.
It's reasonably fast, has HDMI out, a camera port, 2 usb ports, GPIO, WIFI (with a builtin, decent antenna) and Bluetooth
For 5$ (plus another 5 for a little case if you need one)
And it's TINY

I think the increased network speed will be a big bonus over standard model when it comes to your use of the pi's.
I wonder if the USB 2.0 will allow me to use the rpi as a media server with a sata to usb adapter.
the usb 1.0 models would lag when I tried it on them.
