Title: Android 6 on Pi
Post by: UnoWho on March 14, 2018, 10:21:51 pm
I want to run android on my pi3.  I have seen ICS running on it but it craps out when using wifi.  Anyone got it working with an app on it?

It is for my project.

Get an Orange Pi (or whatever) instead. They have "supported" Android images.

Rock64 is cheap and powerful also.

That's interesting. What are you using it for?

I'm thinking X86 and AMD64 are screwed long term.

Actually I have the original Pine A64.
I was using it with one of their android distro's and kodi without too much trouble.
It's been in a box waiting for a project since I picked up an amazon firestick for $25.

They have hardware acceleration working on linux now so i'll probably use it for emulation.
