Hi guys...well I’ve wasted quite a few hours trying to figure this out and I can’t.
I’m running a 4650 card with the latest CRT emudriver on a CRT TV on Win7 x64. I have RA working flawlessly.
I am getting tearing on any other emulator or game I run. Demul, project64, pixel indie games, etc. Even when the emulators or games vsync option is on. No difference. Windows desktop itself seems to have the tearing problem too; I can tell when I shut down and the desktop fades out, the fade is flickery. I have tried changing resolutions with arcade osd, it happens on all of them. I installed the interlace patcher, disabled and re enabled desktop composition, nothing seems to remedy it. I tried using d3doverridder and it helped a bit for example with Demul, but I am still getting a refresh line that appears every few seconds to try to sync the picture. Nothing is buttery smooth scrolling like RA.
Calamity do you know what the issue could be?
I tried installing CCC too, to try to force vsync but it doesn’t install properly.

What about GroovyMAME? Does it sync fine?

No, only reason is this is a console only pc. I’m running GM on my cab.
But regardless because I’m at my wits end here I’ll try it tonight and post back.
