Title: VALUE USB based "add-on" controllers to my barcade multigame
Post by: juan9999 on February 27, 2018, 11:33:28 pm
I've recently got done with my build of a PC based two player widescreen bartop.  It is setup with two players and six buttons each (plus coin, start, exit buttons).  Really happy with it.

I'd also like to play some other games like outrun, centipede, and duck hunt etc.  I'd like a solution where I can pull out the needed controller, plug it in, play and put it away.

What VALUE "additional" controllers do people recommend that work well with mame and windows 10?

I also have a raspberry pi that I could use with an old TV I have for light gun games...

I'd like a:
- Pair of light guns (Mayflash dolphin bar + a Dual Trigger Light blaster and a wiimote (~$40 if you have the wiimotes which I do)) or can I get old arcade light guns and somehow wire them up?   (which one would you recommend and why)
- A trackball (which one would you recommend and why)
- A spinner?  (which one would you recommend and why)
- An old steering wheel (Logitech Momo?)

Must be cheap but playable!

Will they work with LED monitors?
