Title: Wheel menu won't stopping fast scrolling through all my games in mame front end

I have pinball X configured to use as a front end for MAME. Problem is, when I open PBX, the games won't stop scrolling fast through the list of games. It's as if a key is stuck. Any ideas how to fix this?
My pinball tables work fine, using the left and right flipper buttons to page through the tables. Only mame gets stuck.
