Title: Issue with Jamma to Scart adapter
Post by: telonio on February 10, 2018, 01:35:27 pm
Hello all,

I have this Jamma to Scart adapter and the tv screen is not right. When I power up the power supply the tv changes to av1 as it should be. However the picture is not right, after a while the tv loses the signal and then it finds it again, but the picture is somehow distorted. Also there is a hissing sound from tv. Tv keeps losing the signal again and again.

Please see the video I recorded here:

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks

I personally would contact retroelectronik directly. perhaps there is something wrong with it.

Are you sure the pcb is ok? Are you sure the tv is ok? Check every item "on the line" first to isolate the problem.

Yes, if I use a supergun with the same pcb then the picture is perfect. Also the tv is working properly with supergun or any other device.

Considering how elementar that connector is, check solders and traces and you will find the cause of the issue ;)
